Yes a lot of the house is closed off – but it is still lived in. We took the nieces and nephew around with us (they asked to go round it!) and they loved it – one niece said it was the best part of the day! You also get a real feel for how upstairs and downstairs were different with the cosy servants quarters.

Highly recommend this as a day out, couldn’t ask for better. Lovely place to visit, but quite pricey. The safari is as good as always, now with cheetahs.
