Streaming Hallmark movies is easier than ever thanks to a variety of dedicated services and streaming platforms that offer access to their heartwarming content. This guide will break down all the ways you can enjoy your favorite Hallmark movies anytime, anywhere.
Discovering the Best Streaming Options
The simplest answer is: you can stream Hallmark movies through Hallmark Movies Now, Peacock Premium, Frndly TV, and various on-demand platforms available through cable and satellite providers. These services offer different levels of access, pricing, and features, so choosing the right one depends on your viewing habits and preferences.
Hallmark Movies Now: The Dedicated Destination
Hallmark Movies Now (HMN) is the dedicated streaming service for all things Hallmark. It provides access to a large library of Hallmark Channel original movies, series, and specials. Think of it as the Netflix of Hallmark.
- Pros: Largest selection of Hallmark content, ad-free viewing, original content not available elsewhere.
- Cons: Requires a separate subscription, no live streaming of Hallmark Channel or Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
Peacock Premium: Hallmark’s NBCUniversal Home
Since NBCUniversal owns the Hallmark Channel, many Hallmark movies are available on Peacock Premium. While not as extensive as HMN, Peacock Premium often includes a rotating selection of popular Hallmark titles and seasonal favorites.
- Pros: Bundled with other NBCUniversal content, potentially cheaper if you already subscribe to Peacock.
- Cons: Limited Hallmark selection compared to HMN, movies rotate in and out of the library.
Frndly TV: An Affordable Live TV Option
Frndly TV offers a budget-friendly live TV streaming service that includes the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama. This is a great option if you want to watch Hallmark channels live as they air.
- Pros: Affordable price, includes live streaming of all three Hallmark channels, access to other family-friendly channels.
- Cons: Limited on-demand library, picture quality may not be as high as other services.
On-Demand with Cable and Satellite Providers
Most cable and satellite providers offer an on-demand library that includes a selection of Hallmark movies and series. This is typically available as part of your cable or satellite package.
- Pros: Convenient if you already have cable or satellite, no additional subscriptions required for some content.
- Cons: Limited selection compared to dedicated streaming services, content availability varies.
