How do I get to Selworthy Sands?
The easiest is from Bossington, but only at low tide. This route involves a scrabble towards Hurlstone Point, where you will find a cave known as Gull Hole. This leads through to the beach. The alternative route involves following the coastpath from Bossington to the ruined coastguard lookout at Hurlstone Point.

Why is Brean beach closed?
Brean Parish Council is considering temporarily closing off the gates to the beach to prevent people travelling to the village from further afield for their daily exercise during the current lockdown. The beach at Brean was also closed last year to motorists.
