When should you not use Salonpas?
Salonpas is not recommended for anyone who:
- Recently has had or is going to have heart surgery.
- Has a history of stomach bleeding.
- Has high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, or takes a diuretic (water pill)
- Is pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Is under 18.
Does Salonpas affect blood pressure?

Please do not use Salonpas® on open wounds or damaged skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, mucous membranes or rashes, or if allergic to aspirin or salicylates. Also, do not use with heating pad.

The adhesive on the patch can lose its stickiness and the patch may come off, or it can get too sticky and it may become painful to remove. Also, a rash, itching or skin irritation may develop if the patch is on the skin for too long.
Can you use too much Salonpas?
Symptoms of overdose may include: severe drowsiness, seizures, slowed breathing, slow/fast/irregular heartbeat. Keep all regular medical and lab appointments. If you are using this product on a regular schedule and miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember.
